Institute of Business Management has a purpose-built twenty acre campus located in the serene and secure surroundings of Korangi Creek, Karachi. All campus buildings are centrally air-conditioned and they have all been self financed with no outside assistance or donation. The campus is equipped with multiple spaces for educational, sports and entertainment purposes.

IoBM’s cutting-edge multipurpose labs provide students with hands-on experience in business simulations, data analytics, and emerging technologies. Equipped with modern software and learned staff, these labs foster innovation and practical learning across disciplines. Step into IoBM’s professional media studio, designed for media production, journalism, and digital content creation. With high-definition cameras, soundproof recording booths, and live-streaming capabilities, students master broadcasting, podcasting, and multimedia storytelling. The Student Activity Center has a self-serving dining hall which offers hot and cold meals at subsidized rates throughout the day. Various other food outlets are also available around campus where students can get a variety of fast food as well as tea and parathas.

Froom cricket pitches and multipurpose indoor sporting facilities, IoBM promote fitness, teamwork, and competitive spirit. With indoor and outdoor arenas, a fully equipped gym, and coaching, students balance academics with an active lifestyle while excelling in inter-university tournaments.

The IoBM library, an ideal setting for learning and research, serves as a repository for the rich array of both traditional and electronic information services. A distinctive strength is its rich spectrum of resources, including a large number of books, journals, periodicals, reference material, audio-visual material, government documents and reports catering to the scholarly needs of students, faculty and researchers. Its pleasant and conducive-to-learning environment accommodates 350 students and 48,851 books. All library books are searchable using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) and the newly developed software Library Information and Management System (LIMS), available at the front desk. Students are provided with internet workstations and rooms for group study. Of the many recent initiatives by IoBM are its access to a large number of e-resources through the HEC Digital library, and online journals through JSTOR e-database.

IoBM’s Screening Room is where cinematic learning comes alive. Students analyze films as part of their coursework and showcase their own thesis projects on the big screen. Equipped with high-definition projection and surround sound, this space serves as a hub for film appreciation, critique, and exhibition—bridging academic study with real-world media presentation.

Step into our professional Audio Lab, a sound-engineered space where students record, mix, and master audio projects. From podcasts to film soundtracks, the lab features industry-standard microphones, mixing consoles, and acoustically treated booths.
