Dr. Khalid Mahboob is an Assistant Professor at the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) – Institute of Business Management (IoBM) in Karachi, Pakistan. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and IT from NED University of Engineering and Technology, where he also completed his Ph.D. research focusing on Educational Data Mining. With over 14 years of teaching experience, Dr. Mahboob has significantly contributed to academia through extensive research. He has authored almost 40 publications in reputable international and national journals, conferences, books, and book chapters with IGI-Global and Wiley. His research interests encompass a range of topics, including Educational Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, Sentiment Analysis, Programming, and Computer Vision. Dr. Mahboob’s scholarly work has garnered considerable recognition, with almost 300 citations. His commitment to advancing knowledge in his field is evident through his active engagement in research and his dedication to teaching the next generation of computer science professionals. He is a member of IEEE. He is a pioneer and serves as a Branch Counsellor and Faculty Advisor of the IEEE IoBM Student Branch.
