IoBM and AKESP Join Hands to Boost Student Career Development

With a vision to inspire young minds, the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKESP) have forged a  partnership to elevate career awareness and educational opportunities for high school and college students. The signatories were Mr. Talib Karim, President IoBM and Mr. Imtiaz Momin, CEO AKESP.  This agreement will deliver innovative programs and mentorship, empowering students to unleash their full potential and shape a promising future. Under the agreement, signed on May 7, 2025, IoBM will conduct career counselling sessions, host campus tours, and share information on admissions, scholarships, and events. AKESP will facilitate student access to these initiatives, promote IoBM’s offerings, and encourage participation in university activities. 

Mr. Talib Karim, President IoBM, during his address, emphasized the importance of schools in character building and rule adherence in Pakistan. He stressed that character development starts in schools and advocated for including AI and STEM education in the curriculum. He also highlighted the need for skills development, particularly in technology. He also mentioned efforts to advance online and hybrid education, underscoring that Pakistan’s youth are its greatest asset. Mr. Imtiaz Momin, CEO of AKESP, emphasized the need to shift students’ mindsets by focusing on their interests. He highlighted AKESP’s resources to collaborate with IoBM, particularly in research and academic initiatives, to support student development.
